Before joining the World Bank, Ms. Rocha worked for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London where, more recently, she was also involved in EBRD’s crisis response in Ukraine, spearheading significant donor support that was deployed to Ukraine’s real economy, including to the private sector. Prior to the EBRD, she worked at the Portuguese Central Bank and UBS Investment Banking. Ms. Rocha holds a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. She is Portuguese/British and is married with two sons.
