About ASMMUN
The American School of Milan combines cutting-edge facilities and Milan's rich cultural heritage to forge an unparalleled, intimate yet globally expansive Model United Nations experience. Since 2016, our mission has been to shape skilled delegates and global citizens, celebrating diversity and fostering international collaboration through engaging, multi-day conferences.
This Year's Theme
Our aim is to distinguish ourselves from other conferences by adopting a new philosophy. This conference will focus on a diplomatic strategy known as the Zone of Possible Agreement (ZOPA).
ZOPA will help delegates create compromise-based solutions.
This perfectly relates to our theme: "Redefining Collective Responsibility For Humanity." Our theme reflects the need for all delegates to collaborate and work for real, meaningful, and policy-driven change.

Meet this Year's Guest Speakers
In this year's Conference, we are honored to welcome Carlotta Barcaro and Nora Dezsenyi as our keynote speakers.
Ms. Carlotta Barcaro is a professional in international development, who works at the intersection of business engagement and children's rights. As Global Lead for Business Engagement and Child Rights at UNICEF, she works to strengthen partnerships with the private sector and promote responsible business practices that protect and advance children's rights worldwide.
Ms. Nora Dezsenyi has experience in international development and sustainable trade through her work with the International Trade Centre (ITC), a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization. Through the ITC's she trades initiatives, she has contributed to work involving agricultural value chains and partnerships, supporting initiatives that empower women through trade and promote inclusive economic opportunities.
